This american classic electric bass has had a refinish/new paint job and its single coil pickup has been rewound. These two factors dictate why the price of the instrument is so low in comparison to an equivalent bass with its original paint. These things aside, its an incredible player with all the tone and vintage characteristics you'd expect from a 50s fender.
